Claude for Chrome - The Most Advanced AI Browser You have Ever Seen

I have been experimenting with AI in browsers for a few years now. I have tried almost all of them: Nano Browser, ChatGPT Agent, Comet, Atlas, Manus and many more.

I have written extensively about them, including a comparison of the pros and cons. In a nutshell, they are all becoming more powerful with every release, but they still have limitations.

One of the most limiting factor as of today, in my opinion, is laziness when tasks become complex, especially when their context window is overloaded.

• Lack of reasoning, thinking and behaving like humans do
• Lack of capabitlities like saving files
• Executing code (with caution).

I also had early experience with Computer Use from Anthropic (it was actually one of my most read articles on Medium). Recently, I gave it another shot, this time with the latest release of the Claude Chrome extension.

The result? All limitations I have experienced in other browsers in the last two years are gone, making this AI in Chrome, in my opinion, a super weapon that can actually (eventually) do browser automation end to end with incredible reasons and reliability.
