Build a landing page with AI in 1 hour

The article compares 3 platforms for building landing pages under $10/month: TeleportHQ, Gamma.app, and Netlify. Author chose Gamma.app because it's easy to use, has good AI features and customization, though lacks source code management.

I was recently tasked with creating a landing page for a company that I started with a friend.

And as you may know from my posts, I love AI and try to use it in almost everything in my business and everyday life. I know a lot of places where I could build and publish a website, but creating a powerful and beautiful landing page is more than just that.

A beautiful design
Suitable images
My partner wants to edit using a UI
Use templates or AI to generate the initial design
Fine tune using by manual editing and optionally using AI.
Use a custom domain
Easy to use, just build make a website, no frills.
No more than $10 per month
Nice to have: Source code control

I know a lot of platforms like Webflow, Squarespace, Wordpress and many more. But most of them are not an option because of the cost factor.

So I decided to take a look at a few more, perhaps less common, alternatives.

Teleport HQ

In a nutshell, TeleportHQ is a super simple web application that lets you build a UI using a drag and drop UI that shows you not only the rendered components, but also the source code.

You have a component library for everything, navigation, forms, etc.

When you are done, you can then copy the generated code and either download it or host it on teleportHQ.

With the free version you can basically

build the website with or without AI
Publish the source code to your Github account
or download and deploy it yourself.

If you want your team members to collaborate on the same site, or if you want to deploy it on their site, you will need to subscribe for $10 or $18 for a monthly subscription.

➡ The generated website was pretty good, but the generated images were all placeholders, not generated with AI or given the ability to use other sources like Unpslashe etc.

Also, using the components library has a bit of a learning curve and requires some development skills, which makes it difficult for other non-technical team members to maintain.
